dicta_contrionAlong with several other fantastic H/D authors, I'm participating in Fandom Trumps Hate, an auction of fanworks and fan labor to raise money for groups that will be organizing to protect civil rights, civil liberties, marginalized groups and people, and our natural world.

I'm offering two auctions, one for beta services and one for fic writing, in exchange for a donation to your choice of the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, or the Southern Poverty Law Center. Details under the cuts!
Auction #1: Fic
Fandoms: Negotiable! I usually write in the Harry Potter fandom, especially (but not only) Harry/Draco, but would also be excited to write fic for Buffy, Supernatural, Skam, or Finn- or Leia-centric Star Wars fic, and I’d be open to a fair number of other fandoms as well. If you’ve got something else in mind I’m up for talking about it!
Experience: Check out my past work here! I’ve written angsty and happy, silly and serious, long and short, smutty and g-rated, slash and het (and gen in origfic, and femslash currently in drafts!), PWPs and character studies and lots more. I’m up for just about anything you can throw at me!!
Nopes: Without judgment, I’m not comfortable writing sexual or romantic situations involving underage people, incest, A/B/O dynamics, bestiality (inlcuding animagi, shape-shifting, etc.), noncon, dubcon, mpreg, misogynistic language, somnophilia, emetophila, scat, or water sports, and I’m not up for writing HP cross gen or next gen, Dramione, Kylux, Reylo, or RPF.
Length and minimum bid: Bidding starts at $5 for up to 5k, with a reserve of $20. If bidding exceeds $50, I’ll add 1k for every $20 up to 10k. There’s a little bit of flexibility in there, too; a word count is really about how much time it will take, but if the story needs more words I’m more interested in telling the best story than keeping strictly to a word count. Fandoms: Negotiable! I have lots of canon and fanon knowledge in the Harry Potter, One Direction, Skam, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandoms and am pretty conversant in Supernatural, Sherlock, Star Wars, and OMGCP. If you’ve got something else in mind I’m up for talking about it!
Experience: In addition to years of experience as a beta and writer (and reader!) of fanfic, I’ve taught and edited writing at the university level, edited professionally, and taken part in many fiction and creative nonfiction writing workshops. I can work with plot, consistency, and technical aspects of fic at a professional level and give thorough feedback when betaing, and am happy to work with the winning bidder to figure out what kind of feedback would be most helpful.
