Maybe the problem is that i'm more of a tea person...
Also, i can people watch at a dinner party, but if i do have something to say, it's nice that the host is polite enough to respond. In a coffee shop it's too easy for people to ignore you/claim they didn't hear you/genuinely not hear you.
ALSO, also, it seems like a coffee shop when everyone is repeating each other more often than they're actually having conversations. Like, reblog = repeat. And in fandom particularly, it seems i see the same posts all over and... it can get a bit dull? At the coffee shop it's the same story being told by everyone, where at a dinner party everyone's got their own story to tell.
Real question, though. My fandom account is secondary to my main account, so when i follow, like, comment or ask, it has to be from my main account. Only reblogging and chat can be done via my fandom account. How do i make that work? (Screw the faff of a second main account and the logging in and out all the time, urgh. I don't want coffee that much.)
