It's so, so worth another go. I was definitely skeptical of the writing for the first little bit, but once it clicked it was one of those "staying up until three am, reading with one eye open, crying at the end" kind of fics.

And yes! I'm so blown away at how Frayach made that work so beautifully, how that distance makes it all feel more urgent. Just amazing.
